The Rooms
La Dulciane
On the first floor of the farmhouse under the
solid oak frame - covered with lava in olden days - paved with artisanal earthenware
tiles and whitewashed walls, this room accommodates two people.
It is snug and comfortable with:
- view of the vegetable garden and countryside
- large surface, more than 40 m2
- bathroom with Italian shower and toilet
- ancient family furniture
- 1 double bed 160 x 200 cm
- hair dryer, electric kettle for hot drinks, tea-coffee
The “dulciane” is the ancestor of the oboe. It
has had many forms since the Middle Ages. It is also an organ sound, solemn,
rather muted, although very lilting. It was very much appreciated in Saxony and
Thuringia in Bach’s era.
